Columbus Day

Seriously people...get over it! Nobody is forcing you to celebrate it anymore than they force you to celebrate Christmas if you don't normally celebrate it.  I'm tired of everyone getting all up in arms over a holiday that 9 out of 10 offices/places of business don't even observe.  Kids don't even get the day off from school anymore!  GET OVER IT!

Dear Friend

I'm not doing too great.  I'm incredibly frustrated with work and with just life in general.  It's nothing specific really, I just feel like I'm so far behind and I just keep trying to catch up but every time I get close to where I want to be, I slip and fall and have to play catch up again...it's just so frustrating.  Yes, I'm whining right now but we all need to vent at some point to someone and I've chosen you as my go to.  Don't get me wrong, I love my life and I love the people I have in it but I feel like it should be easier.  But then again if it was easier it wouldn't be half as fun would it?  I think my mood has a lot to do with the fact that I'm still feeling sick and I'm hungry.  I'll be over it as soon as I eat.  haha

Where have I been?

I've been sickies :( but nobody cares hahaha.  Right now I'm at home cuddled up with Devin (the doggie) on the couch wrapped up in a blanket watching TV.  I would be crocheting but Josh says I can't crochet for at least two weeks, apparently that's all I've been doing lately and he feels neglected...blah!!!

I'm uninspired...someone inspire me...

So I'm at Chuck E. Cheese's with Josh and Aiden and I keep wanting to tell people why they need to rethink their lives...so here's what I'm thinking:

Hey kid with the t-shirt that says "go fuck yourself" maybe it wasn't such a good idea to wear that to a place crawling with kids..
Hey lady wearing the exact same thing as your daughter- matching mother-daughter outfits are cute when your daughter is a baby but not so much when your daughter is 13 and you're both wearing booty shorts and a halter top...plus both your shorts and your top are two sizes too small...don't be surprised when your daughter is knocked up next year....
Lady over there- I don't care how small and perky you think your breasts are...they're not...put on a bra please :)
